The caves of Pertosa are a complex of karstic cavities of touristic importance, located in the municipality of Pertosa. Among the most famous are the “Caves of the Angel”, a true spectacle of nature: here you can discover and admire small ravines and caves, once inhabited by Greeks and Romans. Stalactites and stalagmites can be seen in various shapes and sizes, all in the most absolute silence, broken only by the rush of water and waterfalls that form a small pond; it’s navigable with a barge, to find yourself again on the surface!
